Even worse... she's Catholic because of me. I had a calling to the priesthood that went unanswered thanks to the idiocy of the Diocese of Nashville, Northeast Florida, and of Las Vegas. After 3 dioceses completely failed to answer my calls for information and after my local priest also refused to answer my calls I had no choice but to giveup. Truth is, most Catholics in charge of the keys to their seminaries don't want people with strong Marian devotion or a lot of piety to get in. At the time I was spending 6-8 hours a day in prayer. Needless to say, this kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. I questioned why I chose to become Catholic (my parents were Baptistish). Well, it was because they could trace their origins to Peter and there's reasonable evidence that Jesus did make Peter the 1st head of the religion that Jesus founded. Well... what about the wiccan belief? They go back several THOUSAND years (maybe 40,000?) before the birth of Jesus. If the Truth was solely in Christianity, why the 40,000 year wait and why was only one tribe (the Jews) chosen by the creator? I tried my hand at some magick after some research. I learned that focusing the mind is the key to good and effective magick. Oddly, I noticed that when praying the rosary that if I focused on what I needed, it would be mysteriously granted. Not long afterwards I learned the pitfall of using Magick for career advancement. Don't do it. I got a new job that I really wanted. And it ended up being a pit of despair. My boss threw a fit when I had to leave to take care of a sick wife or child. Incidentally, it was working for the hell hole Fidelity Investments (aka Lender Service Processing now) for a jerk named Mike Ryan. Hopefully his managerial style will show up on googles of his name on this post. :) Anyway, at this point I understand that magick is REAL and that you have to be really careful when using it. I haven't cast a spell for about a year now. I'm debating doing a spell for a friend here who is lonely to find him someone to love. :) That would be doing no harm, right?
