Does this make me crazy?

;~;
I SWEAR TO FRIGGEN GOD I SEEN MY MOMS DOG (Fyi, he died of parvo 2 days ago.) AT THE FRIGGEN FOOD DISH TODAY!!
OK heres my story.
I went to go feed Buddy and Dixie in the laundry room.
so I grabbed the bag, but when I went in there, I herd a noise that sounded like a puppy eating.
So I opened the door, and I seen a dachshund (the one that recently died)
Dash away, and kinda faded.
and now im scared, so I told my mom, she told me I was crazy, and ridden with gult.. is this true, or could I have had a ghostly encounter.?

..
god, I might die if its the hellhounds again.

Birds and feathers?

Ok how do you feel about this statement:
All birds have feathers
If an animal is a bird then it has feathers.

My Geometry teacher told us this and said that the statement is always true, but I said what about a penguin and he said that penguins do have feathers and I said that it was fur. Then I said what about pterodactyls they're technically birds but didn't have feathers, and totally didn't hear me so that brings me to my point I find it interesting and would like to know what ya'll think.
Do you agree with the statement or not?

If not then give another example of a bird w/o feathers.

Labradoodles or Goldendoodles, hypoallergenic?

Hey my family has been looking into getting a labradoodle or goldendoodle. From my research I have found that they are hypoallergenic, which exactly what we want since my brother gets all sneezy. My question is do hypoallergenic pets actually work for people with allergies?
I want one more than anything!!!

Good low maintenence dog?

I just purchased a home and both my kids (10 and 4 years. old) are desperate for a pet. I love animals but I don't know if I am ready for one. I just put in hardwood floors and I hate to say it but I don't want a dog to scratch them all up as superficial as that may sound. I would prefer a dog b/c my husband is not a cat lover...what breed could I get that is not too big, low maintenance and is excellent with children?

Is my pom pregnant

I've taken my pom to the vet and the vet said she cant tell if shes pregnant, her nipples are swollen and baggy her abdomen is often hard and swollen though not huge I've read so many articles and its made me more confused as some pictures of pregnant poms show massive weight gain and some say that they can be carried in the chest area untill just before has anybody had a similar experience and if so what was the end result, I could take her fotr an x ray but vets really upset her and id rather not give her any further upset, she has been extra affectionate a little more tired but physically theres very little change except the mentioned above, any advice is greatly appreciated thanks

A little egg, what is it?

I found an egg and I wondered if anyone knew how to tell if it is fertilized or just a dud? I held it up to the light and it looks mainly yellow inside.

it is particularly small in size and it is white. I think it may be either a mourning dove egg or a white zebra finch egg. I have a feeling it is a finch egg more than the dove.

I would apprectiate it if someone could help me with this =D

thank you!!!

Palin and wolf shooting

How does everyone feel about Palin's sponsorship of aerial wolf shooting?

it's a brutal method of killing wolves done in Alaska. She actually piloted and supported laws to pay people $150 for each wolf foot they give to the Department of Wildlife.

Hoping to kill the predatory wolves and therefore boost the moose and caribou population, aerial wolf hunting is basically when hunters use very low-flying aircraft to come on top of the wolf, then spike it with a huge sharp pole. More often than not, they simple injure the wolf rather than actually killing it.

While Alaska's bounty laws were banned in 1984, Palin re-instated the bounty for each wolf (wolf cubs get less money).

There is a designated control area where people are to kill the wolves, but the bounty has motivated people to kill outside of this area, orphaning countless cubs and injuring countless adult wolves.

Personally, I think the method of killing them is barbaric. I understand the circle of life, protecting natural resources from predators, even thinning out the wolf population a bit, but offering a bounty for people to do it themselves? AND sanctioning this barbaric method of killing them?

I think it's outrageous. Pro-life, except when it's not human. What do you think?

Pregnant shih tzu and frontline ?

I have a 2 wk possible pregnant shih tzu . I done some research on the internet and ask our vet and he said front line plus would be fine to use on her . I am still very uncomfortable w/ doing so . I am wondering if anyone else has used frontline only durning first part of pregnacy and was there any problems w/ mother or pups after born ? I also found a home made recipe of 1 pint water boiling then turn off and steep a thinly slice lemon all day or over night and spray on dog . They say it will eat away the waxy film of the flea and cause it to died . She is sentive to a lot of things so im nervous about trying that . Any help would be welcomed .

How do I stop my cat?

Every night I let my cat in my room and close the door. He goes to the food bowl and a few minutes later he wants out. He will scratch at the carpet and ill yell at him and hell stop. Then a second later he'll scratch at the door claws and all. Ill get the spray bottle out and spray him. But it doesnt bother him. He'll run right toward the water and play with the water. Not too long after I distract him hell go right back at it!
I finally get out of bed and let him out.
About two hours later he's right out side my door wanting back in! He'll tear the carpet and he'll scratch the door for an hour! I mean there's nothing going on inside or outside of my door!

My dog was never actually fixed.

We took my australian shepard to get fixed two years ago. I recently saw her letting a male mount and became suspious, so my mom took her to the vet for an x-ray. It revealed that she had never been fixed, and was pregnant. My parents are furious. The vet we took her to to get fixed seems to have just cut her opened and stitched her back up. My dad called the old vets office(we changed vets about a year ago)and they said the vet who preformed the operation no longer works there, and they don't know where he's working. What should we do?

I got a new kiitten and when we bought it they said it was a girl, it came from a horrible place with horrible people and the lady said she was 8 weeks when we got her but we didnt think so because she couldnt even walk...and they shouldnt be split up from there mums untill there 8 weeks but we took her to the vet and they said we must of got her when she was 2 weeks because now she is only 8-10 weeks now and we took her again and we said this is our kitty pheobe and they checked her and they said it was a boy...but its wayyy to pretty ot be a boy but we named him charlie, he came from a house which had 7 crazy kids 5 dogs and 5 cats do you think its mean just picking up any and giving them away when she doesnt know the actual sex of it. but its sooo cute and I love him to bits but I feel so sorry because he was so young he was slurpping his food like a baby just been born... do you think its mean that it got split at like 2 weeks and she said it was 8 weeks

How do I potty train my dog?

I've had my new pup for 3 days and I cant get her to perform outside . I take her outside after she's eaten and drank and I use the same word to encourage her( toilet) , but she just lies on the ground and looks up at me !! So I take her out 10 mins after that and 10 mins after that and so on...
Then , after I've been trying for 2 and a half hours , I go and sit down for a bit and I come back and she's performed...inside! Its really frustrating...how can I get her to go outside?
Also , she doesnt show signs of wanting to go , she doesnt pace around and sniff or anything...she just goes!
When she poos and wees in the wrong place what should I do to make her see that its not where she's supposed to go ?
I'd appreciate your advice ...thanks!! xx

strange spider

once while visiting my grandparents in mexico, I was leaning against a table outside in the porch and noticed a small white colored spider coming down frm the cealing making a new web. once it got to the table I decided to play with it and got a small stick ( planning on anoying it ) and got it close to to the spider it snaped at the stick with crab-like claws. I saw them and thought I was seing things. so I got the stick , got it close to the spider again and this time the claws grbbed the stick. I was suprised and thought I had found a new species, so I ran to the kitchen to get a cup but by the time I came back the spider was gone. has anyone ever seen one of these spiders before???

What food should I be feeding my dog?

I recently got a puppy ( a border collie cross) about 3 days ago and I've started feeding her this dry dog food called JamesWellBeLoved . It doesnt have any nasty artificial ingredients or any eggs or dairy or wheat. Its Lamb Rice Kibble and its supposed to be good for her well being and it prevents an itchy coat of fur. It wasnt that expensive and there was other dog foods like Purina and RoyalCanin but they were much more pricey.
I'm just wondering if its ok to feed my dog only this dry dog food and nothing else ...Is that what I'm supposed to be doing??
P.S: I feed her three times a day (60g every time) . (?)

pregnant shih tzu ?

I have a 2 year old shih tzu that I believe is pregnant because she tied w/ our male twice . it was a planned pregnancy and I did lots of research before and still am as I am still learning new things. we only breed twice do to it being what we thought was safest for her and the puppys from what I've learned . question is w/ food . we already feed her pinnacles which is a top of the line expensive dog food . the ingred. on the one we use is protien 42 % , fat 22% , fiber 2% w/ a higher caloric content than typical dog food . is that possibly to high esp. if I am giving her a little cottage cheese and etc.. each day . I also give her a little sweet potatoe and reg. potatoes at times and chicken and rice w / this food . we dont want to over do it . I can tell you my babies are spoiled but we dont feed table scraps so to speak . the food is specific and prepared w/ pinnacles dog food . also is it safe to feed celery to her while pregnant as long as it doesnt interfer w/ her getting enough of what she needs ?

Should I spay my female puppy?

She's really playful and energetic and a lot of fun. I don't want her to have puppies or go through the "in heat" process with the bleeding here and there & all that.

I know I should neuter her in that case then but then I'm also hearing that dogs gets all BORING after being spayed or neutered. Is that true?
