How to download videos off Utube I am going to show you how to downloadvideos offUtube. I will work through it with you.

Step 1- Go to Google video, (http://video.google.com/)Google video search engine searches videos from other sites as wellas its own, these include: Utube, metacafe, ifilm, my space etc... Alsoit displays the link so you don’t have to click on the video to startwith.

Step 2 - Search for a video and highlight the linkGo though the videos by searching, In this case I am putting in thesearch bar “Will it blend” and I highlight the link and copy it.(Ctrl C)

Step 3 - Go to http://keepvid.com/Paste the link in the Search bar (Ctrl V) and click on the downloadbutton.

Step 4 - A brown download box appearsThere should be one ‘Download Link’ operation and it should say inbrackets (.flv - Flash Video) Click it. But if there is more, take threefor example, it means you can download it in other formats like AVIand MP4 rather then .flv If it does appear with others like AVI orMP4 use those instead.

Step 5 - Click SaveClick save and it will ask you where you want to save it. Select thelocation, for example ‘desktop’. Then rename the video. In my case,it just says get_video. I renamed it to“will it blend.flv” If you clicked on the .flv download link like in step4 then you must name it .flv then click save.

Step 6 - Ready to playIt has downloaded on my desktop as “will it blend.flv” If you double clickon it and windows doesn’t knowwhat program to play it with, you must go on to the link below anddownload VLC player. Install that andthen when you double click on the “will it blend.flv” it will ask whatprogram to use and you select that.http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ If you need more help, the keepvid web siteexplains more.

Open Vdownloader. Go to the video on youtube that you want and highlight the URL and copy and paste it into Vdownloader. Vdownloader will download it and convert it for you.
