if you mean like stop contact with someone, I'm assuming you can just block them.

There should be a block button on their page.

go on that person's profile page. you know the box that has crap like "send message" and "add to friends list"? one of the buttons says, "block user".

no, like when you get an ACTUAL email, like yahoo or gmail, how do you NOT get those emails anymore?
