Yes I have one. They are fairly easy to set up. There are lots of programs out there that are user friendly to make the site the way you want, then put in the css.
I'm not fully set up for a store yet. I have actually put it on the back burner for the moment. Yet I do know lot's of people that are successful with their websites. It really depends on the product you are selling. You need to set up something like shopping cart and pay pal. There are lots of tutorials around the net that help guide you in the right direction.
No it does not slow down your computer. Websites are usually run off a hosting server.

Your own website?
Does anyone have their own website? I just wanted to know how easy it is to set up and have you tried to make money on your site? Is it a success for you? One more question, does it slow down your computer or anything?
