Your opinion on tongue piercings?

What is your personal opinion on tongue piercings?

I dont see anything wrong with them..
some of my friends think they look trashy-
but I personally dont..
I think it looks painful..
lol..

I think that it would get infected too easily, and it would be hard to kiss someone!
and the seem like they would hurt!!!

amazingly tongue piercings dont hurt at all really only the week after does.
and they dont get infected that easily at all.
mine healed fine no problems.
lucky me =p

I can't believe they don't hurt, I'd be so scared, and probably tense up my tongue or something. And kissing somebody with a tongue ring is better, at list I think so.

I think they are a bit chavvy now...I had mine done 16 years ago (when NO ONE had them) and I loved it, it's a piercing that can be discreet, so I had it. I can still put jewallary in mine, though I haven't worn any for about 12 years...but then EVERYONE started getting them, and I have NEVER been one to do what everyone else is doing, so I find them a bit sad now...

just my thought...but I always think that piercings are special, and you should do them for you...apart from the 16 in my ears, all the rest of my piercings were hidden...the tounge was probably the only one really visible...

just like any other piercing really
the only things piercings do is sit there and look pretty
tounge rings though can also benifit a bit with oral sex
too many kids get them too young though now
the tounge is a very important muscle
and it dont wrong can be paralized if you hit the wrong nerve
I think people need to think more first before getting any body modification
and not get it to be cool or because everyone else does
but if its right up your alley theres nothing wrong with getting one
