What's your opinion on the Occult(Witches, Wiccans, Pagans, Seers, etc). Just wondering

Shinto is not considered a cult. Truth is Neo ( New) Paganism is just that. . . New based on old ideas not a continuation of those old beliefs.

I have a lot of opinions. Mostly positive sseing as I AM a witch. Wha's yours?

They were one of the first(different branches of the occult being the first) recognized religion.
The idea of one God didn't come around till but Mose's time.

What a pugnatious post... the long term wiccans and pagans I've met have been kind, sensible people. I don't think it is fair to judge an entire belief system. there is a spectrum for every type of religion.

The beliefs of the neopagan religions including Wicca only Go back in modern form 150 at most. They are loosely based on older and darker religions which were often bloody. the old religions practiced child sacrifice and canabalism ( this has been confirmed by modern archaeological findings.). Having once been a Wiccan of high degree and having studied the history of the craft in depth I learned that neopaganism is just that, a new religious movement loosely based on old deaties and long dead religions. . Their is no known proof that wicca is the worlds oldest religion other that modern writtings based on speculation.
No offense but they are not that old. .

It's a codified system of delusion like all religions, but other than that it seems to be fairly harmless.

As for Dark roots, what about Celtic, Indians, Roman Pagans(though not all being good), Shinto, & such? They were mostly an earth based religoun practicing healing & such.

well, to get back to the subject, my opinion is that its wronng, and I feel sorry for witches and wiccans, so on, so forth. so yeah, thats pretty much it.

I agree, it's the concept behind those religions that is ancient, not the titular religion itself.

Like all religions, I find them interesting to study. But I don't consider them an ultimate source of truth.

The occult has nothing to do with Satan(don't even believe in him), nor does it revolve round demons

There are two kinds of supernatural powers, one from God, the other from the occult.
The bible says that one is a thief and a robber, if he comes any other way, except thru Jesus Christ. All the power that you need is in Christ.

there is one good way mankind have to worship GOD , that is worshiping god through jesus christ. you will be free in your soul and nothing can over come you if you hold to his teaching AND ALLOW THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST TO BE IN U. but other powers can course harm to our souls and body.just try jesus he will not fail u. I was born in africa and raise in africa , more supper natural powers are here but jesus always over come them. there is power in the blood of jesus. look if you give your life to christ whether you are poor or rich you will be happy always.
