The fact that our state and federal government agencies DON'T TELL alleged felons that when accepting terms and conditions during sentencing means that not only did you do the crime, you’ll also do the time, along with a not being eligible for food stamps, not able to work to feed your family, after you already did your time. They will tell you how quick they will violate you, but don’t offer information how to expunge your criminal history. Not making first offenders aware of their first offenders rights which is most cases means a Deferred Entry of Judgment which means after you complete some court conditions, when judge will dismiss your case after 18 months in most cases. We need to network resources and information regardless of economic status. All these lawyers, and "famous people" not contributing to educating their community, humm...

"My biggest concern is about all the Muslims who are here in the USA."

Hmmm...kind of strange to see an advisor post something like this, but whatever.

Anyway, pretty much all forms of suffering concern me.

My greatest concern is the lack of education and critical thinking world wide. Many of the problems mentioned above stem from these. I believe if we all were better educated and knew how to analyize information correctly, we'd be well on the way to solving a lot of this.

That the current governments of the world are more concerned with immediate monetary issues and seem oblivious to the long-term devastating effects of their decisions.

Women's rights, such as having abortions illegal, and the state of sexual education in the USA.

Abortion rights are ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, and if it is made to be illegal, women will still get abortions, just more unsafe ones that could endanger their lives. Other people have NO right to tell a woman what to do with HER own body. To do otherwise is to tell her that she is not in control of her own reproductive rights, which means her own human rights.

Just by reading some of the posts on the health boards, today's youth who have been "educated" by the abstinence only programs currently taught today have some serious issues with knowing correct information about sex and STD's. Some kids still think that mas*urbat*ng can lead to growing hair on your palms and that oral sex can get you pregnant! By not teaching about contraception and only relying on abstinence, there is a huge spike in teenage pregnancy, STDs and sexual ignorance.

I'm sorry, but if John McCain gets elected as president, we're ALL DOOMED. He doesn't even know if condoms can help prevent STDs, and advocates abstinence only programs! And his recent promise to make abortions illegal is horrifying and sexist.
