Should I get a myspace if my mom is against it?

ok, my mom is ttly against myspace. but I kinda sorta want 1 just cause all my friends have 1! my cousin keeps buging me to get 1 but I don't know! should I get 1? and if I did get 1? wud wud I do how wud I start it and hook it up or what ever??...

please help!!

Go to the MySpace website and click "Sign Up" (its an orange button).

well first things first, don't EVER get something just because all your friends have it. that's stupid.. myspace is fairly harmless as long as you're smart and use it right. when/if you make your profile, make sure to change it to private or "friends only." I made my myspace almost 4 years ago, so I when I made it everything was different... apparently they changed how it works and whatnot, so I'm sorry but I don't really know many details about how the new version works... but basically, sign up, then go to your account settings, and change it to private. everything is pretty self-explanatory..

I got a myspace without my parents knowing, and I had it for like a year before they found out. but I told them, and I showed them everything that was up there ( of course before I did I changed a lot of things and then once they left, I changed it back, ha ) but my momis cool with it now cause a lot of my cousins have one and thats how I talk to them,a and it's a good way to stay in touch with family and friends.

and to sign up go to and clik on the orange sign up button, and then fill out everything it tells you to, it's not that hard.

WELL I HAD ONE AND MY MOM DELETED IT BUT THEN I FOUND OUT THAT SHE HAS ONE... SHOULD I GET MY OLD ONE BACK OR NEVER PLAY MYSPACE AGAIN?

lol thats exactly my parents too when I was younger...I had about 7 they kept getting found out. lol. ok just make sure you set up a new email address to use cause your parents might search for you using your emial address. and make sure you dont use your name, and you set it to private and you only add people you know will cover your butt ;-)
