What to get my best friend for christmas?

So one of my best friends is a 16 year old boy, and I have no idea what to get him. I've tried frantically thinking of things he likes, but all I can think of is nothing. I was going to get him some chocolate but that is on the verge of being "HELLO YOUR...

MY BOYFRIEND" lol. I can't have anything like that though, because we're only just friends. It can't be anything too expensive, because I have other people to buy for too, and I don't know his clothes size so it can't be that. I also like my presents to have meaning, rather than "oh this is a cd for you" (he downloads anyway) I normally get my girl mates a few little pressies that mean a lot.

Maybe a gift card to his favorite restaurant. Pay attention to his hobbies - maybe you could get him a magazine subscription for a magazine he would like (for example - if he likes video games - you could get him a gamers magazine, if he likes music - you could get him something music related - if he likes cars - a car magazine - there are magazines for almost every hobby!)

Maybe a wrist watch?

Perhaps you could make him some Christmas cookies - every guy likes food. And I don't think chocolate is too bad - as long as it isn't heartshaped :-)

tbh, I have the same problem, I asked him what he wanted for christmas and he said a necklase he'd seen around. maybe try asking him what he wants? Or get him a chocolate plaque from thorntons and write a personalised messgae on it? most boys love food right?
