Hi sandy27,
Are you talking about Wu-Long tea?
I just did some research and basically in ONE Japanese study, Wu Long (or oolong tea, as many of us know it as) helped Japanese women lose weight after eating MORE than green tea.
It's important to think about the study in context: it was one study, done on one group of testers, and all that was really determined is that those who drank it after meals lost weight faster than those who drank green tea.
Also, I would suggest not buying into hype and spending loads on 'Wu Long' tea. It's the same as oolong tea, which is available basically anywhere.
Good luck.
This is basically the same stuff you can get at any regular store, and it's not one hundred percent guaranteed! It does have side effects, it costs more than the average, and the only place it's available is on-line, that's not true either.
It makes you lose weight, and it works good, at first, but I would do my homework if I were you...haven't you seen their ingredients and looked those up? They say they don't know about any side effects or anything like that, but they're lying, something went really bad with one patient, have you seen Oprah lately? She used this and look at her now, compare it to her before, then later...I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody, but Green Tea does work, and that's one hundred natural.
Does anybody know much about computers? Because everybody depends on it so much, you can basically tap into any computer, including theirs ( the companies) and other federal agencies, etc., but there are links everywhere, you just have to know what to input and you can find anything out about anything and anyone...Hopefully it's not you, but people these days, you just never know, I would NOT trust the Ooolong, Wu-Li, or Wu long teas, trust me, they do NO GOOD in the real long run to you.
all I can say is that I ordered it and I had one cup. that was all I needed for a full 24 hours, not the recommended 2 a day. it made me feel sick to my stomach a little for a while and more or less a dieuretic.
hello: I wouldn't trust anything from china..you know those cheap tools you buy at the dollar stores..well, read the little labels and it says caution; contains lead..do not touch
Hey Allbrot, if you don't trust anything from China, I suggest you look through your household and throw away a lot things. There are many items that have components from China that are placed into our every-day items: mechanical parts, plastics, fabrics, etc. Basically, think before you speak.
Okay!
Are you saying, ..the same thing they sell at the health food store wu-yi tea, is the same as this weight loss tea?..same results?..I was just sent an e-mail regarding this tea and it somewhat alludes to the fact that a person can loss up the 20lbs. in one week!..has anyone ever lost that much pound in such a short time, on this tea?..Please respond anyone!

Gaysha,
The recommended weight loss to work for is 1 - 2 lbs per week. I have read the answers here and the ones advising to drink 'Oolong' right from your grocery are the best. This is hype, in my opinion.
Best wishes to all.

Always be cautious when it comes to diet pills, powders, tea, shakes etc. My advice is to stay away from that stuff. The ultimate fat burner is execise. Combine cardio with a moderate ( at a low heart rate) 4 times a week for 45 minutes with muscle strengthening. You will feel great, sleep better and have a strong body. You don't need a gym or expensive equipent. Go for brisk walks for cardio, do 4 sets of 20 push-ups, lunges, squats and a bunch of crunches. It is great to have a ripped body and you need no tea, pill etc. For diet? there are numerous yummy recipes online for south beach diet stuff. Again all from free. Don't waste a cent on diet pills. They NEVER work!! 'Don't take short cuts, or you will get cut short!'
the reason that you lose weight with tea drinking (wu-long) is because all the 'guarantees' also state that you combine the tea drinking with a SENSIBLE DIET AND EXERCISE PLAN. So, let's see here..an overweight individual is going to drink tea twice a day (increasing fluids and speeding detoxification of the digestive system), exercise (even moderately), and eat a healthy, reduced calorie diet and suddenly, it's a complete
miracle, they begin to lose weight!! Wow, it really must be the tea because it certainly wouldn't be any of the other things. Think about it.
yes it does put I want to order it so bad but my sister wants the numder she does not believe enternet thing so I am waiten for you answer please send me the number
I have tried the Wu-Yi and also the capsules from wu-yi.com for two weeks so far and love them. It is nice to not have to drink the tea all day and I feel like I am losing body fat. I am not really overweight, but needed to lose body fat so yes it has made me lose fat so I guess it works. It sounds like there are also health benefits to it which is a bonus!
I dont know about wu-yi, but ma huang works really well.
Ever heard of the placebo effect? This natural phenomenon triggers the body-mind to produce the expected outcome when the person holds a strong belief that it will. The physiological mechanism of placebos is not well understood, but well recognized in research. That is why every new drug has to be compared to a placebo, commonly called a 'sugar pill' in rigorous studies. Inert substances can produce up to 60% positive results in people who hold a strong belief and expectation of success of the product. If one is duped into believing those claims by the language and the price of a product they would really like to work, it can work, for a short time. Since the chinese have already poisoned thousands of pets with contaminated gluten ingredients and Mattel had to recall millions of toys for their lead content, I do not trust the chinese because they have no set safety standards and no intention to apply any standards they might have. There is no control there, just unlimited greed and total disregard for anyone and anything that is not chinese. Buyer beware! A lot!

REGULAR GREEN TEA would do the work for you as well, I am the proof!!
10 years ago I was overweight by 30 pounds, my blood presure was not good eather and my whole life was a mess because of this, until one day I decided to start working out and lose that extra weight naturally, what really worked for me was the combination of exercise, good diet and cold GREEN TEA all day long, I used to drink it at all times, fresh made every day, you don't have to buy any expensive stuff or fancy tea products, just your normal green fresh tea without sugar would do the magic, as for the side efects it's true tea will eventually clean up your system as it works as the perfect diuretic, helping your liver get in better shape and therefore your skin will show major changes.
Thanks to this combination I lost 25 pounds in 2 months and gain almost double muscular mass, green tea works great, without it my results would have been not even close to what I got, but remember exercising and good diet is also important!
Sorry, I meant Kidneys instead of liver. Thanks.
Hey cbl,
you criticize the chinese for their poor safety standards, which is true, but you neglect the consumer country's (particularly the U.S) responsiblity to protect their consumers. Which obviously, they have not. The recalls are living proof. Furthermore, you claim that the Chinese care about no one but themselves. False. It's the head of the corporations that care about no one but themselves, not the poor working class. In fact, the workers are far more exploited than you. It's kinda like the big cooperations here in the U.S who like to set on the little guy. Not that different. Just a U.S ploy to scapegoat China because they weren't able to stop contaminated products from entering the country.
Better hope the terrorists don't capitalize on this.
Maybe I'm quite a few months behind - but in response to advise's post - does drinking the tea make you ramble like that?!!! If so, DEFINATELY DON'T DRINK IT. Besides that - green tea isn't necessarily 100% natural. You have find out the bleaching technique if any that they may use in the American manufactured tea as oppose to Chinese manufactured green tea. Bags aren't good because of the bleaching technique. Pure leaves is the way to go. They are more expensive. The one the bags are less potent becuase they are dried out.
Think of tea in the same content one may think of marijuana. That's how pure you would need green tea or any tea to work. So in essence...grow it yourself.
I just want to say I have read a lot of people talk about Wu-Yi tea. I am in the trial period now. I am overweight and working on a healthier new me. Yes, a lot of it is hype to get people to try the product. But lets face it, every company builds hype for their products to peak interest. Everyone needs to remember there is no such thing as a miracle pill or tea or shake or anything else. If you want results, you have to work hard for them. But I enjoy the taste of the tea. I am exercising and watching what I eat as you should whether you are dinking tea or taking pills or taking nothing. The reason I enjoy the tea is because 1) It helps me stay on track. Every cup reminds me that I need to keep an eye on my eating habits, and I still need to exercise for the day if I haven't. 2) I can drink tea rather than eat all day or worry about a schedule with pills.
As for the 20 lbs in a week, I have never heard of that. Personally I lost 5 1/2 lbs in 4 days, but not due to a 'magic tea', Due to persistance and hard work.
The bottom line is everyone is different. Different things work for different people. I think what we need to focus on is supporting each other for taking the first step. but most importantly for yourself- Drink lots of water, be mindful of what you eat and drink, and workout. Just by doing those three things you will feel better and not only slim down, but tone up as well.
'Your goals, minus your doubts, equals your reality.'
I ordered the wu yi tea and am waiting for it to arrive. I have no idea if it will work and I am definitely going to check out the side effects before taking it (if it's listed on the package). if I am not satisfied, I will 100% send it back without payment.
my question is - has anyone had terrible side effects from drinking it? has anyone else had great results from it?
I just received my Oolong tea under the name of Wu-Yi. Now finished my first cup. No hives, headaches or hiccups, so far. No skin discoloration, blurred vision or scales. Mmm... hype? Sure. Does it really work? That's probably up to me. It came with a 6 step program which read like common sense to me. Realistic expectations, diet, excercise, think positive, good attitude, rest. Gee... what's all the fuss? I probably won't continue and will return my unused portion for a full refund. Why? Because I can get 100% Oolong tea elsewhere a lot cheaper! End of story.
thanks, for your response to my specific question, bar merch - wow, down 8 pounds in one week! that's fabulous. are you doing anything else along with drinking the tea? have you cut calories or increased your exercise regimen? once I receive my package, which should be any day now, I'll be sure to report on the results. if it works, I definitely think people should know.
Sandy, I'd look at some unhappy people who have used this tea and it produces no results. Seems the real results are diet and exercise. Don't waste your $$$, girl. http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Vintage-Wuyi-Oolong-Long/dp/B000G1PAC6 - 201k -
I have been taking this for a few days now along with diet and exercise and eating a lot of veggies and fruit. I havent' seen any melting fat, but no side effects and I like the taste. I will continue the batch I have now for 30 days, but plan on canceling any reoccuring deliveries. Will check back in a week or so and give update
I have actually been on day one of the tea - it arrived yesterday - and I have heightened energy and seriously supressed appetite. maybe it's just me? has anyone else experienced this? it's a good thing - it's doing what it advertises, at least!
I just started the whole tea drinking diet...my mom wanted me to try it out along with my great (lol) diet...its really not all the bad I have cut myself to 1000 calories a day and I work out for 10-30 minutes a day...I have a very busy schedule so I cant really fit in a trip to a gym or anything so hopefully the tea and my new diet will help me to loose the extra poundage I am trying to loose...ill update soon
martineau08,
If you plan to keep the weight you lose during this diet off, then plan on eating 1000 calories a day forever. Because once you metabolism adjusts to 1000 calories, you will stop losing weight. And since you probably aren't getting enough exercise, as in muscle training, you will lose muscle mass(less calorie burning) with the fat. When you start to eat again, you metabolism will be used to burning 1000 calories not 1800 or 2000 calories. It will instead be stored as fat. 7000 calories in a pound, so extra 1000 calories a day = 1 pound gain a week. in a short while, you'll be back where you were or worse, have less muscle mass to burn calories, and a higher body fat % with more fat. depending on what your size is, you shouldnt go below 1500-1800 calories. Its more about the quality of the calories you put in.
Tashmaxx,
Green tea by itself may give you noticeable results over a long period of time, but not in 'a few days'. Basically don't eat stupid, exercise with muscle training, and drink water. Dont think anyone has complained about results from going to the gym or doing some sort of exercise(above your normal daily exertion) after a month. A fat arse ain't going to lose itself in a week or even a month! Takes time. So if anyone believe theres any 'quick fixes' they are a fool.
In reply to funadvice- yes I have changed my eating habits and started drinking more water, and beginning to workout. All of these I have neglected in years, but getting back to them is wonderful!
In reply to Suedi52- and anyone else for that matter- this is VERY important: One thing will NOT work for everyone. everyone's body reacts differently to different things. Tea may not do anything for some people. Tea may do wonders for others. You are the only one in control of what you do to get yourself and keep yourself healthy. If you are serious about losing weight, getting in shape, it begins with knowing that a LIFESTYLE change will give you permanent results, whereas DIETS only give temporary change because you do what you can for that moment (cut out meat, or carbs or whatever 'diet' you try) but once you get the results, you go back to your old ways and all the weight comes back.
I have had this put in a couple of different ways that really caught my ear. The first way is this starts with the mind and heart. You have to be in the right mindset that you are ready to change how you Live (not just what you ingest), and have the heart to survive the hard times, the plateaus, or any other challenges that face you. (Thanks Oprah and Bob)
The second thing is that instead of focusing on your weight or appearance, focus on getting healthy, or gaining strength, or flexibility, or being able to walk up a flight of stairs with out getting winded. It may help to think of your body as an engine. You engine (your body) takes you where you want to be. The better you take care of your engine, the better it will function. If you have a lot of weight to lose, you can set 10lb goals for yourself. Celebrate those 10lbs that come off, and start with your next 10lbs. Reach out to others that are going through this as well. We all know in this time and age, you are NEVER alone. Find a forum, find a trainer, have a friend or family member be your accountability partner. Just remember YOU CAN DO THIS.. wether you drink tea, or not.
This company is a SCAM. I ordered it on Jan 1st. The 11th, still havent received it. I called, got the package reshipped. Got it the 17th. The tea made me violently sick to my stomach. I called the number and they said for refunds email which they provide the address...I wrote. He replied 'since you have surpassed the 14 day trial period you will be charged the $37 however we will remove you from autoship. Thanks and have a nice day'
Can anyone say RIPPOFF???
I too have ordered for the tea...wu yi..lets see..if you are having green tea, make sure you do not discontinue it..relly gives cool results..and abt china goods...I feel they are the best..cheap and best of all..luv all their products..hope a lot comes to india...y cant they start a china mall thr??
I have never tried the tea so not sure if it works. I wanted to reply to RIPPED OFF turn them into better bussiness , you'll get you money back quick. I had the same problem with smc believe me they dont like to be put on their lists.
I just received me order of wu yi source. I tried it and liked it, I feel I have more energy, no, I have not had an errection lasting longer than 4 hours.
Wu yi tea is basically a oolong tea. You can buy even the puriest, organic ones for $39/lb. Sure, oolong tea or green tea have some wonderful health benefits. But if these tea is so amazing in losing weight, there shouldn't be any over weight people in China or Japan since they drink those teas all day long. Not true, right? So drink the tea for all the benefit they give you. But if you want to lose weight, follow the steps. Set a goal, visualize, proper nutrition, exercise, focus, and hold yourself accountable. That's two cents from a current personal trainer who was over weight once.

I'm definitely not an expert on diets and such, but I have to say that {Bar Merch} makes a lot of sense. When I had my son I was about 60 lbs more or less over weight. All I did to lose weight was set a goal in my mind and remind myself every day of how I missed my healthy looking and feeling body. So I worked out for an hour or so every other day and changed my eating habits. More vegetables, more water, more activities=walking mainly. I had lost those 60 lbs in 6 months. One thing that also motivated me to lose it was when a family member of mine had told me it took her three years to lose her baby weight. I absolutely had refused to suffer that long= that was my main motivation.
Right now however, I am taking something called 'Napolina'= Flax seed plus... It's basically something to help clean out your system of toxins, and promotes healthy weight loss. It helps you go to the bath room regularly. I've known a few women that are taking it and have seen good results. It also helps promote healthy levels of blood glucose and insulin levels, immune support, weight loss, heart health... So in short it supports good health over all. NO miracle. Just extra support. You can probably get it at a supermarket maybe near you. I know I did. It was only $10, but sometimes less. But with everything do your own research on it and see if it will agree with you. Good luck to you all.
Hi, I just ordered the tea and I am really looking forward to trying it. I have already started working out 30 minutes a day 4-5 days a week and I drink about a 100oz. aday. I just want something to help it alittle faster. In the past 4 1/2 years I have put on 45 pounds. I was 123 and am now 170 and am 5'3. Not good. I will post back and let you know what it does for me.
Do I drink it Before or After or any time as long as I have the 2 cups per day?
My family were from China and we all enjoy drinking tea including oolong (Wu Yi), but we never heard of the link between weight loss and Wu Yi tea evven in China, neither does it work for anybody in my family. But if you want to lose weight like me, I would say try the hard way of working out like everyone else, rather than letting the ads fool your ego! Save your $$$ for something important!

Hey guys...those of you that have alreadly bought the Wu Yi Tea and thinking of canceling...delete your cureent bank debit card number before you do so, that way they cannot charge your account!
I ve been on the tea for a bout 1 week an I love it. I replace 1 of my meals with it so I don't be hungry so I only eat 1 time a day. It's better if you order off ebay because it's cheaper an you don't have to worry abot the company getting your credit card information.
If that tea has something in it called Senna it can give you terrible diareah and cramps.
This program is a rip off, plain and simple. If you already have a proper diet and exercise regime, that should provide as much success in losing weight (if not better) as what is described in the Wu Yi Diet program. The Wu Yi program simply instructs dieters to watch what they eat -making sure that there total intake of fat is 30% or less of the total calorie intake, follow a regular exercise regime of at least 30 minutes per day, and drink their tea twice a day, which is no better than the regular oolong tea you would find at the healthfood store. With some exceptions to the Wu Yi program (such as the complete restriction of egg yolks and occasional indulgences which is completely dated - the consumption of both are not only acceptable in modern healthy eating plans but encouraged), this is a regime that people should be following anyway for maximum weight loss success, and consumming a few cups of tea a day will certainly help in boosting the immune system and metabolism (because of the caffeine) and you don't need to pay $30 for it (unless you're an avid tea drinker like me).
What would happen if you drink more then 2 cups a day?
Can you drink more then 2 cups a day? I am not the type that would ever work out, so will it work for me?
Can you drink more then 2 cups of Wu-Yi Tea a day? I don't like to work out, So what are my chances of this working? I don't binge eat and I don't eat junk food. I had surgery 2 years ago that's when I put the weight on. Help !!!
oolong tea is full of antioxidents and contains quite a bit of caffeine (not nearly as much as a cup of coffee), so you'll certainly get some immuntiy boosters from it, but weight loss? no. you need to eat a healthy diet and exercise at least 30 minutes a day everyday, that's how you'll lose weight and amazingly enough, the Wu Yi Diet tells you to do the EXACT SAME THING (with additional restrictions which NO ONE will be able to realistically follow forever), in addition to drinking the tea 2x a day, which adds ABSOLUTELY ZERO additional weight loss benefits. everyone please understand, the WU YI DIET IS A SCAM!!! YES, absolutely drink as much tea as you can stand - it is good for you, but don't expect to lose weight while not exercising and consuming a bad diet and don't expect the tea to provide a miracle.
I have just ordered some tea, from EBay for $8 and what I have seen on one website is the following:
While it is true that tea does speed up your metabolism, the average rate is about 4%, which amounts to a weight loss of about 8-10 pounds a year. To really lose weight sensibly, use it as a healthy supplement to your regular diet and exercise routine. It can also help you prevent the times of reaching a plateau with your weight loss.
This seems more reasonable. I would like to lose a few pounds but I did not get the tea as a miracle drug. I like sipping on tea and thought I'd try something that was supposed to offer other health benefits. I think 8-10lbs a year is more reasonable. I am almost at my ideal weight and if sipping this tea helps me stay there then I'll be happy with it!(I do excersice regularly at the gym and I watch what I eat already)
I have been drinking the tea for a week. No side effects and have not really exercised. I have been eating better but that's it. In 1 week I have lost 6 lbs sooo at this point I would have to say that YES it works.
I have not tried Wu-Yi tea but In have tried slim Tonic tea by max nature.com which is a andispose tea(eliminates fat from the body)I started on Jan 3,08 and as of now I have lost 15 lbs. which is 5 lb a month a slow and normal way to lose weight. I do a lot of walking at my job as the building is away from the parking garage and fairly large inside bathroom way on the other side so if you are drinking fluids you gotta go,but no exercise routine. This tea cost 3.05 for a box of 20 tea bags, all my slacks are way too big now. I will continue drinking this tea and you only drink it once a day.
This is a great article with hundreds or interesting reviewers' comments that indicate that Wu-Yi Tea itself is a money-making scam:
However, from what I have read elsewhere there is some scientific evidence that oolong tea can aid with weight loss (see some references below). I agree with many of the posts above - it seems like oolong tea might help to aid in weight loss when combined with a healthy diet and exercise, but I would highly recommend that you buy the tea at a local tea or health foods store at a much cheaper price than it is sold for online.
From 'Slimming On Oolong' Science News; 5/19/2007, Vol. 171 Issue 20, p318-318, 1/4p The article discusses research into the weight-control properties of oolong tea. Researchers fed lab rats a normal diet, but laced some of the rats' food with dried extract of brewed oolong tea. The rats receiving the tea-laced food gained three to six times less weight than the rats who did not receive the tea.
From 'Say Oolong to Extra Pounds' Prevention; Sep2002, Vol. 54 Issue 9, p78, 1/3p, 1c Focuses on oolong tea, a traditional Chinese drink which may help promote weight loss. Study which found that those who drank the tea burned more calories.
listen I've been doing the wu-yi tea it really does work if you stay commited if you follow the diet and drink it twice a day it does work try it if you are seriouse dont listen to peoples negativity some things just arnt for certain peole try it and let me know what happens I've lost 15 pounds and I've been doing it for 11 days

I just received my tea yesterday...and so far I don't feel any side effects...so im waiting to see what happens...
Ah the American Dream! Get everything you want, (in this case, weight loss), without any practical effort.
I've been reading some great answers & frankly great if this tea works for some but at 30$ a pop?!?!?!
I'd say, continue doing the exercice, watch what you're eating, drink lots of liquids, get some regular sleep (7-8hrs) and most importantly: TAKE THE 30$, PUT IT IN A BANK ACCOUNT & AT THE END OF THE YEAR, SHAZAM, YOU'VE GOT YOURSELF 360$ TO PAMPER YOURSELF!! (and thats not counting the money you will have saved by not buying all those chips & pop!!)
Don't get me wrong, I know that everyone wants to lose the weight, get into shape & look fantastic but you first need to put all your chances into YOU not in any other products or scams that basically only tell you what you want/need to hear.
I was once very overweight, not taking care of myself & decided to change my life. Heck, I even changed jobs! Going from an overweight (sometimes obnoxious...) bank manager to a trainer!!!
DECIDE - FOCUS - DO IT!!!
I too have read about this WuYi tea, and was curious if it worked. Or if it tasted good. But I am glad I didnt' order right away. After reading all the posts on this site, I think I will go to the healthfood store and buy my tea. I like tea in general and think it will be worth a try. The tea, along with my diet and exercise program will hopefully help me shed a few extra pounds before my daughter's wedding in May. I have already lost 7 pounds on my own, just want to speed it up a bit.
I drank my first cup today, and I feel normal.. There is nothing wrong with just trying it. Plus, its only cost 5 dollars for them to ship it out to you, and If I was really that desperate, I could cancel and get my 5 dollars back. I will cancel after my 30 days, because they charge 14.95 after that, but theres no big deal. And I dont think Oprah, CNN, and all the other people, or stations would be advocates for this tea, if it didnt work. And if it doesnt, o well, I guess you have to find something else to do, and work on your eating habits... May everyone be healthy lol.. I will come back in a week, and tell everyone how much I've lost.
Everyone is being very dramatic. WU YI only cost 4.95, and if you were really that desperate, you could say it didnt work for you, and within 30 days, you can get your money back. After 30 days, they charge you 15 dollars, and I will cancel after that, but today was my first day trying it, and there is nothing wrong with trying. I also dont think that people like oprah, and stations like CNN would be advocated for this tea, if it was really that harmful. People just need to be conscious about their health, and if this does not work, then maybe what you need to do is hit the gym, get a trainer, and work on your eating habits. I will be back in a week to let everyone know how much I've lost. Im not overweight, but I want to be healthier, and it is all mind game. If drinking this tea encourages a person to live a healthier life, then no one should mind. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
I bought Oolong Wa-Yo from my local health food store. It was $3.87 for about 2 weeks worth. Good luck everyone!
I have not rec'd my order yet.. but I dont feel theres any harm in trying it, as I have tried a lot more things, and have noticed that they have not worked. Again I think its a mindset, and these enhancers will keep us on track. Its always a good thing to exercise and drink plenty of water whether we are trying to lose weight or not.
im just now reading all of your answers and personally it seems like eceryone has something to say about rather if the tea is good or bad. if you really want to know instead of listening to other people TRY IT YOURSELF!!! im going to try it and see if it works and your not spending all lot of money if you get the free-trial.everything that people has to see is by opinions and if they did try it and it didnt work out then OH WELL everyone is different what may work for one person may not work for another. its up to you to take the risk!!

I read about ma huang above and I got all excited and did some research on that as well and discovered.

I'm looking into a more healthier life style myself and I don't think I'm going to diet this way, or in any similar way, after looking at even related teas. Results are good, but I'm looking for an overall wellness.
I was wondering if someone knew if Wu-Yi and Mega-T Green Tea would give the same results?
Is this really worth it, though? I'm going into high school at the end of this year, and I'd like to be able to feel more confident about myself in the...presumably 'scary' new enviroment. I'm 5'4'...or 5'5', and weigh somewhere between 185 and 190, I'm not exactly sure. I don't eat much to being with, so I'm thinking part of it may just be genetics, like I've been told. Would this help at all, or is it just going to be another one of those things that get everyone's hopes up, then don't work in the least bit?
this piece of crap took my 50 dollars within the hour of me ordering but it took 4 weeks to come in the mail
and all I got was some nasty pills a box of stinky nassty tea and a piece of paper that said that they wuld charge me 50 dollars more for another box even if I dont want it, and the number they give to cancel that piece of crap is false in fact if you call is another private company that has nothing to do with it and has received a bunch of calls if you still not convinced call yourself

I have heard that it gives you diarrhea...is that true?
I ordered it, and have been taking it for 4 days and have lost 3 pounds and haven't even started working out yet. I have noticed more energy and better sleep. It may be in my head but if it works...great. I have tried almost everything out there and this is the first thing that has given me even a remote sign of working. The tea tastes great and I am very happy so far...we'll see.
Oolong Tea is natural and authentic tea. There no side effects at all.
As for Wu Yi Tea, yes I have purchased it. There are pros and cons for this product.
First, it is over priced and does not help you lose weight. If you follow the instructions, you can lose weight without drinking the tea at all. It does help improve your bowl movements and two cups are tea daily hydrates your body at least.
So the claim to help losing weight is false... or at least it doesn't work for me
Be very careful when purchasing the tea from Wu-yi-tea. Once they get your money. They don't want to give it back. They don't answer their email nor pick up their phone. You can get the same tea at the chinese grocery store for a much cheaper price. Basically, tea are naturally good for you. DOn't trust anything thwy said.
I agree dont buy it over the net you can get it from your local grocery store I have drank Wu-yi tea Green/White tea for ages has given me energy and my skin has changed but thats just me may not work for everyone ..I also drink camamile and spearmint tea before bed every night and I sleep all night !! as for losing 22lb in a week you would have to drink bucket loads and nothing else if you want to lose weight Diet and exercise and lots of water is the go ...you can drink the Wu-yi /green/white tea but no need to get it of the net..Julie
