ok my question was gay I have to admit like no one nos soo I give up probablyy the chicken came first heres my explination srry I'm a bad speller

probaly some weird mammal slowly chenged into a chicken which started to lay eggs and crap like that so I'll go along with my own idea

The egg

It was laid by the female of a species. During its development it developed one or more evolutionary traits that started its distinctiveness as being a little different from the creature that laid it.

Those traits aided in its survival and growth and were therefor passed on to future generations.

Future generations kept evolving with additional survival traits until eventually the complete chicken had evolved.

But it still had to come from an egg, so the egg came first!

Something needs to make an egg for an egg to exist...ponder that.

The question is which came first, the chicken or the egg. As an extreme example, let's say that it was a lizard that laid the egg. The resulting chicken was a result of mutations that occurred within the egg as it was developing. The resulting hatch-ling ended up being a chicken, so the egg came first. The lizard was not a chicken.
