How to get the wrong hair color out?

my hair dresser put a semi permanent color on me and now I have black hair, even though it was supposed to be brown. Can someone please tell me how to get semi permanent hair color out without having to bleech or strip it. All types of advice are...

Wash it over and over and over and...you get it! If you do this it should lighten the color up a little bit. Just make sure the shampoo you use isn't color safe.

well, it looks like you are just going to have to wash your hair a lot. with semi- perminent die the color comes out in a number of washes.

I believe that you can go to a beauty supply store, like Sally's, and they have packets of stuff to take semi-permanent color out.
