Not all songs have to have a chorus. As long as their is a melody and you can put music to it it is a song. There are many different patterns to songs, some with and some without choruses.

You don't have to have a chorus, experiment, do what you want, I experiment all the time.. but the more I experiment the more I realize that the standard song format is popular for a reason, it's catchy... The hook has got to be very memorable and easy to sing along to for the most part... Lemme rephrase, nothing "Has got to be" but it works well if you do it that way. I make some commercial music, and I have experimental tracks too. If you want to experiment do ya thang, just make sure you got one or 2 mainstream songs to catch peoples ears so that maybe they'll listen to the abstract stuff with an open mind since they already like your other stuff, get it?
