Would anyone be interested in a writing contest?

If I started a writing contest that would pay 5, 3, and 2 dollars for best story how many people would be interested? You can fun mail me for preliminary details

I don't know if that's enough money to bait the hook...lunch costs five bucks really. If you want people to get excited, it might take more money.

Also, take a look at what helium.com has done...they've attracted a growing pool of aspiring writers, you might consider exchanging articles for "exposure" if your site gets enough traffic.
