Wow twink, what is it?

What in the name of gaming is a Twink? I have been playing WOW (World of Warcraft) and everybody talks about twinks. Please help a noob gamer.

Its someone who has eqipment that is difficult to get at their level..they usually stay at 19, 29, 39 so they can be the strongest in the battlegrounds. They always have insane enchants on everything they can get and having a green item is rare for them simply because they are all blue, purple or orange.

Yup, paj is right. Twinks are lower level characters with great gear.

Often times, people with a level 70 character and lots of gold will make another character. Then they give that lower character all kinds of money, gear, enchants, etc. that your average low level person could never afford.
