As I've said before, I've recently started a guild on World of Warcraft and have a question. When Im promoting why can't I promote above an officer? I know there are higher ranks...

Not really...

These are the ranks:

Initiate, Member, Veteran, Officer, Leader

You're the leader...so Officer would be the highest...
