Would you call this a date?

A few days ago me and this girl that I like went and saw a movie. I paid for her, opened doors for her, and all that nice stuff. During the movie I put my head on her shoulder. My parents took us and, obviously since I like her I sat beside her in the...

car and her dad picked us up and she sat beside me in the car. After the movie we took a walk around the theater and I out my arm around her waist and we just talked and stuff. But anyways, I got home and was wondering if she thought it was a date or just friends hanging out. So I texted her and said "hey my parents keep asking me how was the date. And I keep telling them we were just hanging out, right?"

Would you call that a date??
Sorry for the long read :p

I would consider it a date but its good you asked her because she might or might not consider it a date.

yah tizz is right, but in my eyes that is a date...walking around with a girl while your arm is around her waist, thats boyfriend girlfriend stuff. anyways asking her is good and I am sure that she thinks its a date 2

I'd call it a date. But if I got a text message like that, I'd reply agreeing we were just hanging out... and then I'd probably be really confused...
