How can we make some extra money?

My husband and I live in CA and life is more expensive here than we are used to (we're from TX!)! We make decent money together, but I was wondering is there anything that either of us could do to make extra money that is not very time consuming, but...

will cushion our life out here a little more?!

I'd recommend babysitting, when you aren't working, be available to watch other peoples kids. You could do it from your house or from their house. If you do it from your house, you will still be at "home" and it wouldn't be much of a burden, you would still have time with your husband, and be getting paid to do it!!
