About you being drunk when it happened. That makes me very sad because it was obviously not very special to you at all. Also the legal age to drink is what 21? At least in the United States it is. So if you think that you are old enough to drink and old enough to have sex, you are not correct. The government enforces drinking ages for a reason. I am trying to help some of you young ladies because of the terrible life that I had when I was younger and I will admit that I was drinking, doing drugs, and having sex at 14, but I wish that I had not. I ended up becoming an alchoholic and an addict and going to AA meetings at 18! I don't think any of it is ok and I wish that the teenagers in this world would quit trying to grow up so fast! You do not realize the dangerous positions that you are putting yourself in. I know, I know, everyone of you on this website is going to tell me that I don't know you and I don't know your life and you all will rationalize these things and come up with excuses as to why it is ok for you and why you are different or why you are so much more mature for your age than anyone else. I have heard it all and said it all before. Please think about making some changes while you are still young. You have no idea what you are going to put yourself through. You will have serious regrets when you are older and then you will be the one trying to help out teenage girls just like I am. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell me, do you like the person that you see? Do you really want to be that person? Are you really having fun? You have no idea the consequences that I have had to deal with because of my actions as a teenager. Did you know that by the time I was 17 I was on a stripper pole every night? I had no other way to make money because my parents kicked me out. That lifestyle is not comforting and it will only make you feel more alone. I used to live in motel rooms! And I had to make enough money every night to pay for my motel room or I would have no place to live. It all started with a little drinking and having sex. Everything escellated from that point and just kept on spiraling down and down until I hit rock bottom. You never know what could happen, your life may be different and your parents may be more supportive, or maybe they just have no clue what you are doing because they aren't paying attention or they are in denial. Trust me there are no good things that will come out of drinking and having sex when you are still in high school. No matter what you will have consequences for your actions and you will regret putting yourself in the position that you have. I have epilepsy now because of the drinking and drugs that I did when I was a teenager. I have grand mal seizures and I loose my driver's license if I can't go for more than a year without having a seizure, and I lost one very good job, one of the first very good jobs that I ever had because I could not control my seizures. Think about these things and tell me, do you really think that you are so special that nothing bad will happen to you? If you play with fire you will get burned no matter how special you think you are. You may think that you are the one in a million person that won't suffer any consequenses from drinking or having sex. You could contract an STD or get pregnant. Do you know how hard it will be when you are an adult to find a boyfriend or a husband if you have an STD? Even something like herpes that is not life threatening. It will be very difficult for a man to want to have sex with you let alone get into a serious relationship with you. There are other less threatening STD's out there like Chlamydia or HPV those are treatable but you will have to get it taken care of and then you will have to tell the people that you had sex with about it so they can get treated. HPV is the number one cause for cervical cancer and one out of every 5 people has it. Stop trying to grow up so fast and do it all while you are still so young. You can never get your innocense back, you can never get your childhood back, and you can never get your virginity back! Please listen to what I have to say, I am not like your parents, I understand what you are going through and that is why I am trying to help. Nobody should have to deal with this alone.

I think its an ok age to have sex. I was 14 when i lost it. I got a bad reputation at school and so one of my "friends" invited me to a "party" and when I got there it was just me and five other guys. They thought that I was a slut because of all of the rumors going around and they decided that they all wanted to have their way with me. Needless to say I was raped and held down by all five of them and now, 11 years later I am still a mess about it and it will not go away. I wish that you girls would think more logically when you take actions like this because high school is only a short four years out of your life. You will never be able to take back anything that you do, what is done is done and your reputation will follow you forever unless you move to another state. Don't let your heart get broken. Save your virginity at least until you are 17-18 wait until your senior year in high school at least.

I don't care how old you are. I am not going to lecture you about your age. However, I think waiting might be a good idea. It has nothing to do with age; it has to do with sex ed. If you don't know that sex is not supposed to hurt, then you do not know enough about your body yet. So I would suggest learning about your body, what turns you on, STDs, birth control, how pregnancy occurs, etc.

Also, before you have sex, make sure you have at least form of birth control that you know how to use correctly and make sure you visit an ob-gyn. All girls are supposed to go to the ob-gyn when they become sexually active.
