Why should people get married?

From many days my parents are after me for marriage. can somebody tell me few good reason for getting married and also how could I tackle with my parents.

The only reason to marry someone is because you love them and want to make a lifelong committment to them. Anything short of that is the wrong reason.

To have children, sex, a lifelong partnership and not be alone.

tell your parents to back the fu*k off and to calm the fu*k down. it's not their life.

if YOU are not ready to be married then there is no rush. when the right person comes along you'll know.
