Why is my cat's nose dry and why is he wheezing a lot?

For the past 2 months, my bengal cat, Gambit, has had a really dry and crusty nose. It seems to have build up along his nostrils and I clean it every other day. I also noticed that whenever I play with him, he starts wheezing and breathing rapidly. It...

usually starts when I'm about 5 minutes into playing with him that the wheezing/rapid breathing occurs. If anyone can help me out with this, that would be great. Thank you.

I would take him to a vet. He could possibly have a breathing problem. And the only way to find that out FOR SURE is to take him to a professional. (vet)

I heard that if your animals nose is dry that means they are sick.

A DRY NOSE AND WHEEZING IS SERIOUS,I'VE BEEN THROUGH IT AND I STUDY ANIMALS EVERY SINGLE DAY SO I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT...PLEASE TAKE HIM TO A VET FAST,UNFORTUNANTLEY ONE OF MY CATS WAS ALREADY SO BAD OFF SHE HAD TO BE PUT TO SLEEP AND SHE DIDNT SEEM LIKE SHE WAS THAT SICK EITHER.I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE HER BACK,BUT THANKFULLY MY OTHER CAT GOT TREATED IN ENOUGH TIME.ALSO DO NOT TOUCH THE CRUST BECAUSE SOME THINGS YOU CAN GET FROM ANIMALS AND MOST OF THE TIME THAT IS HOW HUMANS GET IT.GOOD LUCK,maybe my kitty Ranger will watch over Gambit,while he's getting better.

your cat isnt well, get him to a vet... they can catch colds and it doesn't have to be cat flu, can just be a cold like we get, but not a human cold of course.. definately a check up at the vets asap.
