It's like tring to drive a car with no gas.
Food is 'gas' for your body and without it your body will not function.
Organs may become so damaged that they will stop working and sometimes they do not ever recover.
Water is also a huge 'must have' for your body to function correctly.
I had a sister while in her 20's started having problems and they kept getting worse so she finally went to a doctor. They ran all kinds of tests and in the end they told her that her body was 'drying up' inside because she apparently was not drinking enough fluids. We all though that was stupid but she started drinking more and everything got better. We were amazed that all the problems she had been suffering were just from the lack of liquid which her organs needed to work.
If you don't eat the glucose levels in your blood drop. Your brain runs solely on glucose for energy. Your body must burn fat stores and reduce your basal metabolism to compensate for the lack of energy. Burning fat produces more acid and ketones than eating food- hard on all your body organs if it continues for any amount of time. Meantime your brain it only hitting on 4 of it's 6 cylinders (you can't learn or process information as well as you should.) When your basal metabolism goes down it stays down even after you start to eat again, making it easier for you to gain weight, and much harder to lose.

Because these other people most likely love you, and they can see the damage you're doing to your body, try seeing it from their point of view. To them you may as well be loading a gun up and putting it to your head.

in your own mind, you might THINK its handling it well
but its not
not eating can cause many health problems
it also shows your perception of yourself is wrong, and you probably think your fat when your not
and you can die from not eating
as well as that your body cant run on nothing. food is fuel
without that fuel your body cant keep up with the things youd do in a normal day
youll become weak, slow, and sluggish

Why is it so bad to not eat ? Just wondering. If your body can handle it then why is it so bad ?
