Why everytime do I put my town I am from in, it changes ?

I put my town in my info and then when I check back into my site, it changes to another town...what the heck!!!

because it is using the capital city I think.

its not using the capital city, several of the towns it changes to are just dinky little towns next to me...lol
oh well, I'm done trying to change it back.
