Why does my hip hurt...please help me!! urgent

my hip really really hurts and I dont know what to do. I have been to the doctors but he doesnt know what it is. I have had an x ray and I am awaiting the results. my real question is that does anybody here sufferes with hip problems and can you tell me...

u might have fibromyalgia I probable spelled it wrong,but it causes the bones and joints to ache like you would have r.a I dont know what kind of pain you have but my wife has that and thats what hurts her the most is her hips and feet swell

Hi, I don't think you have perthes disease unless you are under the age of thirteen. If you are thirteen or younger then get a second opinion with a doctor. Some birth control pills have been known to cause hip pains as well as a slew of other hormone-related drugs. Or it could very well be a growth spurt if you are under eighteen.
