Why does it make people happy to make fun?

Why do people make fun of me it hurts so much

Because they are insecure in their own being and need to make fun of someone else in order to puff themselves up.

There may be something a little different about you and they don't know how to accept it so they make fun of you so that they don't have to learn to accept and understand the difference. They fail to realize that we are all a little different and that it is those differences that help make for such a beautiful world.

Just ignore them and pity them because it is they who are uneducated and different.

Because some people are really ignorant and childish. Everyone goes through it at some point, and yes, its very hurtful. You cant really make it go away though, but as you get older people start to stop all that goofy stuff and get their act together.

People used to call me "sloth" in middle school. I hated it...HATED IT! But you know what? I'm 27 years old now, I'm successful, well liked, have a wonderfuil girlfriend...so whatever!!! Things turn out fine, don't let it get you down.

Don't give them a chance and stop them when they try to make you look funny.

B/c they feel that way about themselves. Whatever they're telling you is wrong w/ you it's not they are just saying what they don't like about themselves.

people are just retarted and they are taking jokes too far. make fun of them back.

You will have that a lot, trust me, people use to be mean to me but then I grew up a little more and all the sudden everyone was nice and wanted to be my friend. Well those you except you for who you are and were are the people you can trust.. Those who make fun of others have no respect for life, others or themselves.. Some people will never change, and others will grow out of it.. honestly thats just how life goes sometimes, sad to say but you can't always change people for the better.. they will have to do that on their own..
