Why do people judge you for your music taste?

Why do people judge on you for what kinda of music or songs you like?
beacusei looove john lennon, the beatles, flobots,aqua,flyleaf,toy-box,the pack, and eminem.
and just because they dont like most of the bands, they choose to hate me,

because people are mean and they are mean to you because they hate there own lives so they take there anger out on others

sometimes people dont think and the ones that judge think there better than others but there not. you cant worry about people like that you just have to laugh things off. its good to be you love yourself and dont let others put you down.

the music you listen to usually defines a bit about who you are
so people use music taste to determine what kind of person they think they are
but that isnt always the case
music can have everything or nothing to do with a person
but a lot of people tend to get along better with people who are into the same music as they are
however its not the best way to jugde someone
