Why do blondes have the reputation of being stupid?

I mean, my moms smart, and shes a cop... shes not stupid by far..

I have no idea, because they needed to pick a superior human that can be identified easily to make jokes about and won't get upset by it!!! haha But yeah no clue... My IQ is 162 and im Blonde... hmmm

cause blonde hair is considered most beautiful in most cultures and so you cant really be beautiful and smart, so they think blondes are bron and no brains I guess.

But my friend is a genius, and is living proof that blondes can be really really smart.lol she couldve skipped a grade if she wanted to but, decided she'll take all the AP classes she could instead.lol

It what we think because the media gives up a negative image of it and therefore people are very steroptypical of blondes. Honestly you can't judge someone by their hair color. I've been blonde for my whole life and yes people do think I'm dumb even adults. In my advanced placement class for physics my teacher the first day asked if I was in the right place. I was so offened that I dropped the class the next day. I think there are a lot of blondes who actually increase the blonde stereotype by making themsleves seem stupid and they need to honestly realize they are making themselves look bad. But speaking as a blonde and knowing smart blondes we are far from stupid

your intellagence has nothing to do with hair colour...most people making the jokes are jealous and dis satisfied with them selves and blondes have the reputation of being beauitiful...
