Why are people scene?

I have nothing against scene kids, but why do they poof up their hair like lions and stuff? I just don't really understand.

ha because its f*cking awesome, lol I don't know, I'm in a band that a bunch of scene kids support, its just a preference, its like why are people preps, they just are, its what they're used to and its what they like

lol, its just the same as any other hair style
to get it a certain way, you need to style it
that scene hair is just one of the many styles out there
theres nothing wrong with it
its a pretty big trend now though
its just like when back in the 80's everyone would go and get there hair permed

its all about what you consider beautiful
