Dear imprettycool0,
Ask to see a counsellor at your school and they can direct you to the proper professionals. Once this begins and it isn't properly addressed it can progress. It's important to catch it now so that you can begin some type of behaviour modification. It can be a simple as a side effect from a medication you are taking and can be rectified simply. The important thing is do not ignore it and have a professional check you out ASAP.
Sue...good luck
There are different degrees of OCD, and probably a little in all of us. The key is, if it's interfering with your normal life, see a professional. For example, if it takes you an hour to get from your front step into your front door because you have to count all the bricks 100 times, it's serious.
Often we just grow out of these phases. I wouldn't worry too much.
Why am I so ocd?
Im so OCD over the stupidest things. Like today, I was making my bed, and I had to pull my blanket down to the floor bc I have junk under my bed, and didn't want it to be seen. Then I was thinking about how the other side didn't have the same amount....
Sometimes I freak about things like that. I start to cry, and jerk myself around. And its not just the bed thing that bothers me, I have other things too, like if me & someone else is walking with me, I've got to be on the right side. How do I stop?! Also, like if I'm sitting in class, if I tap my knee or leg 4 times, I've got to do it too my other leg.
