Don't forget your hormones are also a little out of whack too, because of what you just went through... it'll get better as time passes.
I cry at a lot of things too, that no-one else does. And yes, it can get quite embarrassing at times!! When I was 12, I made almost everyone at the airport cry when we were leaving a country we had lived in for a short while, because my quiet tears turned into heaving sobs, lol. My family teased me (in a nice way) about it for years after. I cry at happy things. I cry when I see two people meet again on tv, like an adopted daughter and her birth mother. I cry at long distance phone commercials. I've cried at some questions here on funadvice. LOL. And the worst thing of all, is that when I cry, I don't look like a glamorous movie star who needs a silk hankerchief handed to her... I look like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with a bad cold, and use a whole box of tissues! My eyes get red and puffy... it's really annoying!
So don't worry -- you're not alone, and it's what makes you YOU
Honestly, its good to cry.
Crying lets all your emotions out which is good because its not good to keep them bottled up inside of you. Don't be ashamed of crying when you need to even if its about something good or something weird, just let it out.
Listen to the song "Its okay to cry" by Amanda Wilkinson and listen to the lyrics. The song makes me teary but its a good song. Let me know how you like it.
I have to agree with all the above, most men think it makes you look gay if you cry, I cry when I get upset because atleast it shows you have emotions and I hate bottlein things up anyway. I know its different for a woman but what im trying to say is crying is a natural thing, doesnt matter how much you cry theres nothin wrong with it at all.
the only thing holdin your emotions in is mess up your head and most of the time turns into anger because it gets too much 4 you to control.
