I just came back from Zurich- I loved it there, because it's snowy at the moment (perfect snuggling weather), shopping is amazing, food is some of the best I've ever tasted, transport is very easy (there's always a train or bus going to where you want to go every 5-10 minutes, and they're always on time), and most people speak at least a little English. I'd definitely suggest going up to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn and stay a few nights- it's just magic...!
Well, I have been to lots of places in Europe, and my favorites have been Paris, France; London, England; Madrid, Spain; Luca, Italy. I really enjoyed Luca because it is a small town with great restaurants and shops, and there are tons of beautiful villas to rent right outside of the city. It is an enclosed city with a beautiful wall around it that you can rent bikes and ride around. It was amazing and the weather is fabulous!!!
I would definitely not recommend London. Terrible weather and all there is only really museums and things. Paris is said to be one of the most romantic cities and I would agree with that - particularly at night when the Eiffel Tower lights up. However, like London it is not very fun. Also, be prepared for shopping! I would recommend Portugal, lovely culture, brilliant weather and there are many exciting things to do.
The honeymoon capital of Europe is, without a doubt Santorini. Santorini is known and loved for its breath taking, romantic views. It is a couple's island, located in the Greek Dodenanese (12 island) group in the ionic sea. The main city of Santorini is Fira, located in the cliff of the island. There you can sit at a wonderful romantic restaurant and just absorb the views. You can easily spend 5-7 days in Santorini and combine the visit with a couple of days in Athens.

Which is the best honeymoon destination in europe?
A friend of mine from my old job is getting married in a few months. Currently, he's narrowed his field to somewhere in Europe. Any advice on which place in Europe would be the best for a honeymoon destination? He only speaks English, but I don't think...
that's really a determining factor in which country in Europe he's going to pick.
