Boiling hot water is more painful because you can swim with cold water but with hot water you can’t this is my opinion.

Much, much more painful to bathe in boiling hot water - because its basically burning & cooking you. Freezing cold water is much less of a temperature difference from normal than boiling hot water is, and it will be really cold but not painful.

In Russia, once a year they cut a hole in the ice on a lake, and you jump in and swim (naked) for a bit then jump out as a part of some traditional festival. You're cold, but you survive with no real harm. If you tried doing something similar with boiling water, chances are everyone would end up either dead, or in hospital for a long time.

not sure when it comes to the hot water cold water debate, I do know that getting run over by the local postie van freaking hurts... and he never said sorry, just left me lieing in the road covered in my own blood and urine. he never even gave me the post the b*st*rd.

Hot water.. lol I don't know why, but I can't stand hot water. This is totally random, but a lot of people say if your stressed take a hot shower..that makes me even more stressed, so I take a freezing cold shower, and it WORKS!!! lol it's awesome!

boiling water would be more painful because your skin would gin to burn and bubble

cold water would just numb the body and you would probably go into shock

(I don't know if you can go into shock in hot water)

besides..cold feels better

boiling water would be wayyy more painful...

its 212 degrees Farenhiet (100 Celcius)
but freezing cold water is only 32 degrees, a temprature which our bodies can actually stand.
