I'm looking for a new guitar because mine just plain sucks and my band and I have a show to play at soon. I was looking at ibanez and epiphone, I have about 450$.

Epiphone

works good
yeah and used always works for short term stuff
OR if you want to be all kicka$$ (with dollar signs...YOWZA!) and smash your guitar on stage...
