Which ipod should I get?

I've been doing really good with things lately - things that my parents have been really proud of me for. My dad said he wants to get me a present because him and my mom have been so proud of the way things are going because I wasn't doing so good for a...

little while. He told me to pick out any iPod I want and he's getting it for me. He thought of this because I'm getting braces soon and the orthodontist told me to bring an iPod or something to listen to because its an hour and a half procedure.

What iPod do you recommend? (I'm just going to be using it for songs, I don't watch music videos or care to)
I have to figure it out like soon because he told me he needs to know tonight because he's ordering it.

touch, hands down. I think the phone is way overrated, and I used to think the plain pod was too. but then my mom got it for me and I'm hooked!!! free internet, save videos straight from youtube, already have all other settings like clock personal planner/calandar etc if you like that stuff. I don't fill mine up too fast so it's a 16gig. but if you go through the space easily probably get a higher one...

if you do get the shuffle, don't. Go with the sansa clip it's like the shuffle but better, it actually has a screen.

Go for the nano or the touch, even though they both play video, well the only ipod that doesn't play videos these days is the shuffle but it sucks,

ipod touch my boyfriend just got one and I love it like I get on the internet all the time while listenin to music while im at mcdonlds or wal mart I love it so get it I hope you enjoy it as much as I do..good luck with your braces I had them and I kinda hated it when I got em took off...
