"I want to be different, and scene."

Being 'scene' is not being different...it's super popular right now. Unfortunate, in my opinion. I think guys who wear girls pants look silly.

Why not just wear things that you like and that look good on you instead of trying to dress a style because other people do? You weren't born a copy, why become one?

there is really no specific store to buy the things you are looking for...if you think that just because scene people shope at hottopic they are "emo" or "scene" that is ridiculous be who you are not a trend

its stupid for the other people above me to say be yourself;; well maybe thats you being youself && too afraid to admit it before. search it on google&& pacsun has some good clothes.

Somewhere down the line everyone has seen someone they thought looked awesome and decided to create their own path like theres. You agree with the lifestyles they make, you enjoy their interests, and you are comfortable looking like it. thats how you know it fits you. Being scene has been around forever, but never had a name. Those were the people who dressed differently then everyone and didnt care what people said or did.. ever since speaking your mind and being different was the new hip thing to do, people came out of the mold society fits them to be. And those people werent copying anyone. same with every trend and style. being scene is evolutionary because preps wear clothing that say "american eagle" or "hollister" and are afraid to step out of that loop for fear of ridicule. scene kids wear things from thrift stores to hammy downs to hott topic and work accessories and hairstyles into the mix to create an awesome look without a label, name, or copy. SO in a way you create your mini trend that fits only you. your defining yourself.

There is a store called Torrid. It's the same thing as hot topic but their sizes run bigger and their clothes are really cute. I live in buffalo, NY so if you do too it's located at the galleria mall but other than that they have an online website so if you just type in Torrid in a google search you should be able to find it and order clothing online.

hey yall I dont agree with being a "copy" either but no one should be mean to someone who wants to. peoples argument is that you should make a conscience decision to be yourself, well what if looking like audrey kitching or jeffree star is what will make that person happy...if someone is doing it just to be cool its silly but if thats how they really want to look because they like it, just leave them alone seriously this is stupid.
I like bewild.com
no exactly "scene" or "emo" but they have a lot of really cool stuff in a lot of sizes that if you play with the look a little you can turn it into your own

I have a question, how can you say you want to be different, when everyone attempts to be "scene"

I dont consider myself to be scene.
but I do dress like it occasianlyy.
and apparently I have "scene" hair.

but get your clothes from thrift stores,
think vintage mixed with retro, scene
is a rather trashy genre of clothing.

and most scene kids dont have natural
coloured hair.

don't be one of those try hard kids though,
that tries to be scene but epicly fails.

they are rather annoying tbh.
