When will my baby walk?

My son iss 11 months old, and has been cruising around furniture since he was 7 months. he is now standing perfectly on his own (started a couple of days ago). im just wondering when he'll start to walk. I know one year plus is norm, but then other people say when they start cruising they should walk soon after, and he's been cruising for 5 months already. am I not stimulating him enough?

I guess I should stop worrying and let nature take its course, just need some re-assurement.

I know im only 14, but my cousin started walking at about 16 months. Your doing fine, try to get him to walk toward you into the middle of the room.

dont worry! I am a mom of four and they all walked eventually! I promise your little one will walk before he graduates high school! lol...its normal for you to sweat the small stuff...but try not to compare your baby with anyone elses! my 1st walked at 10 months, my second at 15 months, my third the day after she turned 9 months, and my 11 month old baby is still not walking yet! and yes, she has been cruising for months also! it will happen, I promise!

Any day now - standing, just place something he really wants just out of reach - he'll go get it !! - I wish you the best and take TONS of pictures, they grow sooo fast !!

You just wait if he is standing on his own, the next thing you know he is literally going to just take off.

My daughter started walking at 14 or 15 months. It only took a few days for her to get steady and start running.

thank goodness for digital cameras these days hey?!!! my camera never stops clicking LOL!!! it is the greatest gift watching them grow

Hey don't worry
Some kids don't start walking till there like a year or so,
Some kids walk really early like me lol
But I wouldn't worry about it because the little girl I watch she just started to walk and she's a year so relax and take things easy lol
