something that gets GREAT gas mileage. I have a prius. a basic model runs 21,100. visit toyota.com
I get around 45 -50 mpg, depending on how I drive. the amount that I have saved on gas is great.
the fact that it cuts out and relys on battery when not in use, cuts way down on emissions.
it is very reliable, attractive, and has great get up and go. I have gone 90 on the interstate and don't even realize it. also it has a huge amount of room and a great resale value.
sounds as if I work for toyota..lol.
I just really love it. it takes $25 to fill my tank and I only do that every 3 weeks or so.

and it comes with all this standard...

Ditto on Amoeba's answer - get a hybrid. The Prius is rated number one on Consumer Reports.
