what worth is there for walking away? you will just get absolutely nothing and you will (I assure you) long for one or the other. since colleen has a bigger place then I guess pick her. follow your heart and not your brain... or you could test them...though that is up to you
but be aware for every decision there is a catch...

I think he wants to walk away not because it would benefit himself, but so that he won't hurt either of the girls.

try making a list of pros and cons? test them each...get to know them really well.
