What punk bands don't scream?

I need to know that because Iam a punk and I play in a hardcore punk band so we need inspiration so far we rely on Good Charlotte, Avenged Sevenfold and Mest.

what about the first punk bands how could people forget them?

No wonder you're having trouble finding inspiration with THOSE bands. Here are a few real punk bands you may want to look into. If your band doesn't like the sound of these guys, then you're not in a punk rock band.

Also, no such thing as hardcore punk. Either your band is hardcore, or punk. Make up your mind.

I agree with sarahhh. You could try some punk inspired bands...
Gogol Bordello They call themselves Gypsy Punk..they have a fusion sound inspired by the Ukrainian Gypsy culture, punk, and reggae. Very fun stuff
Fugazi They are post punk
Dismemberment Plan They are actually much more rock in sound than punk. But they are heavily influenced by it. I highly recommend them to you!

ohhh hun you need to broaden your taste,
try the distillers, rancid, sex pistols, the ramones, the casualties, flogging molly, flyleaf, kittie, paramore, or the horrorpops. (the last 4 bands arent punk but they have some heavy/ interesting lyrics and their all female vocalists)

ya sry those bands arent very punk. if you want some good punk try like the dead kennedys,joan jett and the blackhearts,crass theres a bunch more that are good but those are just a few
