Marxmellow, or even Marshmellow, cookie, sookie, katiee, nikkie, Tia, sunshine, meow, kitty, kit, honey, mazy, Marbles (that's my cat's name!), I do like the name Luna. Uh gee, there's a lot to name a cat...go with your first letter of your name and one for your cat. put it togetther and make up something!!
It sounds a bit hippy-ish, I know, but I've always felt that when you get to know a cat, their name just comes to you. You don't have to name the kitten right away, you'll eventually find a name that fits.
For example, my first kitten made a huge puddle on my bed the first night I had her- she got named Chaos, because she constantly broke the rules and misbehaved, but was cute enough to get away with it.
when I got my 2 I was told they were girls. they were black and white, and almost identical. the one with black nose was coco (chanel) and the one with the pink nose was pinky. THEN I noticed they were boys! so I had to change their names, which sucked! now they are spotty dog and pookie bear. im getting a fluffy white one and she it going to be called rupert, just in case she turns out to be a boy aswell!
Oh you must be so excited!!!
What I did when naming my dog was make a list of random things that fit the colors. For a black and white kitten some ideas are midnight, oreo, and luna.
Make your own list of everything that you like the sound of. For me I loved food names for pets. When you've picked up your kitten go through the list considering how each fits. You may even have a name idea pop into your head that wasn't on the list.
Once you have the kitten you'll just know what to name it. Its personality and appearence will help you name it.
Hope this helps

what I did with my cat was I waited a few days to catch onto his personality and picked his name (sorry but its oreo... sniff sniff) based on his personality. (his name actually has nothing to do with his being black and white but rather that he took a bite out of one of my oreos 2 days after I got him... I was eight... so I figured he must like oreos)... wait for a funny action or an obvious personaltiy trait, and go from that.

What should I name my kitten?
June 25th, I'm getting a new kitten.
I can't think of any names.
She's mostly black with a little bit of white.
Help me name her!
