I live on the other side of the world from my mom, so I am wondering what I can get her for her birthday? I can't take her to dinner or something nice like that, so I have been looking for about a month and I can't find/think of anything.

Please help

If she doesn't actually need STUFF (and lots of mums have too much stuff anyway) then I recommend something like the World Vision Alternative Gift Catalogue. It's online. You choose a charity gift to give, for example I gave my sister a 'football for girls' education' last Christmas. You can get much more expensive things too. The football, or the water pump, or whatever, gets sent to the poor village that needs it and you get to personalise a card online which tells your mom all about the gift.
