What should I do after getting my ged?

son and I am with a girl that has two sons .it is very important to me that I make enough money to be happy with my family and support them financially. I currently work at a grocery store and although I love my job I, absolutely need a better one. Please give you suggestions and please don’t judge me. I just want advice
I hear that the ged is sometimes considered over a high school diploma because it shows more self discipline. Employers what do you think???

go to college and get AT LEAST an associates degree. better yet, go for a bachelors. of, if you want to be more career oriented, go to a vocational school. but GO TO SCHOOL!
