What should I do about my parents?

Okay. Lately my mom has been drinking a LOT. Whenever we see her she has some alcohol in her hand. My dad and I really worried about her because she doesnt normally act this way. Does anyone know why she could be acting this way? Also, I'm pretty sure...

I'm going to confront her but what should I say?

Maybe shes acting that way because she has a lot of stress and she might not be sure what the right way to resolve it is. Or it could be a start of a habit. It would be a good idea to confront her, just ask her if theres something going on right now. or ask her if she's ok.
just be really calm about it, sometimes people take it the wrong way.

People drink to escape. So something's bothering her. You need to find out what it is.

I think she is more than likely stressed about something, so she is drinking to not be stressed. When you find the right time, you and your dad should talk to her. Say things like,"Me and dad doesn't want to see you with health problems and we are asking you to please stop and decrease that risk". Talk calmly and try not to get in a huge fight and make things worse!

 
Some time when things are calm, sit down and talk WITH her and let her know that you are worried about her and that you're concerned about it and are there to support her whether or not she wants to talk about it.

ok. she probably acting that way because shes probably depressed about something or she worried. my mom did drugs and never told anyone but my step-dad. but if your really concerned about her health or about her in general and you want to confront you might want to tell her in a kind way and say" mom I was you and everytime I see you, you have alcohol in your hand and im thinking and please don't take it the wrong way, but im just really concerned and I would like it if you get help to decrease this habit." something like that I used something similar with my mom and dad, and both of them went to rehab after I had confronted them.
