What to do about veiny and sore hands?

My hands are pretty vainy. And they make it really uncomfortable when I use my fingers, such as typing(they're hurting this very minute).

Does this sound serious? Should I see a doctor about it right away?

Unless you are heading into your later years such as 40s or 50s I would say you need to see a doctor ASAP. There are several conditions that can cause this and these can easily be treated by your doctor. So head on over to your doctor and tell him how you are feeling and remember to tell him if you are feeling uncomfortable in any other areas like your knees or hips.
