What should I do about my dad and boyfriend?

My dad is very strict. He's always telling me I can't have boyfriends for a long time and bla bla bla.
I am a teenager! All my friends have one but I can't.
Well, I do now and I'm not sure I want to tell either one of my parents but I kind of have to. What should I say to him without making him mad?

all dads hate the fact of their little girl growing up! tel your dad that your growin up now and your not his little girl any more I had this trouble with my dad but my dad doesnt live with me so thers not a lot he cud say or do gud luk x

well if your boyfriend is a good guy I wouldn't worry to mucjh just tell your dad that this is how it is and you really like this guy after he gets used to the fact introduce him to your dad and hope it all works out

TELL HIM THAT YOR A SMART GIRL AND THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO HANDLE TOUGH SITUATIONS WITH GUYS. BUT GO EASY ON HIM DADS KNOW BECAUSE THEY WERE ONCE BOYS.DONT STRESS ON THE FACT THAT ALL YOUR FRIENDS HAVE ONE because THEN YOULL JUST SOUND LIKE A FOLLOWER AND HELL THINK YOUR FRIENDS HAVE AN HIGHER ADVANTAGE ON YOU.

yeah I have the same exact problem but im going to worry about that in like a year so whatever!
well go easy on himm my friend just sat him down when he is in a good mood then told him but first she got her mom to understand forst so that your mom has your back and will help you get through to him!GOOD LUCK!

1st introduce the guy 2 your dad.
after dey meet about 2 or 3 times & your dad sees how much uv a gentleman he iz. tell your boyfriend to ask your dad if he can take you out.

well it is really hard to answer that not knowing your dad or your boyfriend but my little sister had problems bringing home boyfriends because she always assumed my father wouldn't approve. but when she didn't tell him and he found out he got very upset and let her boyfriend know he was upset. so tell him (I know you said you were I was just explaining so that you wouldn't change your mind about telling him) and if you do tell him try to sound intelligent about it (don't say you want a boyfriend because everyone else has one), don't tell your dad you love the guy! he will be on his gaurd more and probably won't let you date him (maybe he will as I said I dont know him)

my dad said I can have 1 but I cant go out with him till I'm 18... dads hate it that their baby is growing up. they want you to stay little 4eva. but b who you are do what you do, everything will work out in the end...
