Told this other girl in my school that im pregnant

Thsi girl told this other girl in my school that im preganant and dont live with my parents anymore!!! The rumor is so far fetched that its actually funny! my cuzin thinks I should got to the peer minister to have a talk with the girl who spread it. ...

but my other friend says I shouldnt do anything. even after I confronted the girl about not saying anything to anybody else she did it anyway!!! Im so p*ssed! Im more p*ssed at the girl who spread it rather then the girl who made it up! It doesnt bother me that much but I dont want to go into school one day and have people staring at my stomach whispering stuff, because thats what happened to a girl 2 years ago, people spread rumors about her and it really hurt her. my one friend said I could threaten to charge the girl with defromation of character and harrassment... Can I? What do you think?

Don't confront - it would serve a constryctive purpose - just 'no way' if anybody says anything or stares and go about your business - let it roll off, no big deal...Take care !!

There isn't really enough to go on to press charges.

The rumour will fade out when people realize you're not getting any bigger, and it will be the ones who started and spread it that will be left with a bad reputaion.

Have patience - these things have a way of sorting themselves out.
