Should we try a long distance relationship?

... Asked by rt1620 about 1 year ago, 2 answers.

My boyfriend of 2 1\2 years is going to Louisiana to work for his grandparents, for how long...I don't know...he doesn't even know himself.
I can't go down because I have unfinished business here,he won't stay because he will have it made down there.

that I mean he'll have a decent paying job,not to mention they'll look past his "record"(nothing major).I'm confused as what to do,and I don't want to end our relationship because I have fallen way too in love.

I hear long distance never works...what do you say?

Long distance CAN work. Been there. It's just something that both people have to really work at. Phone calls every day, communication is key. You also need to trust each other. It won't work if one or both of you suspects the other one of maybe being dishonest. If I were you I'd try to see about how long he'd be gone for. I didn't check your profile to see where you live, but could you arrange visits? That would be helpful.

What kind of unfinished business do you have?
Did he ask you to go?
Sorry I just can't answer but I need to know this.
