Ideas please for my sister's 9th birthday?

my sister put me in charge of her 9th birthday and I want to give her the best one ever. what should I do? what theme should I do? so far I have something but I think that it will never happen. HELP ME!!! oh and her birthday isnt until march. =)

What is your sister's favorite music/TV show/movie/sport/activity/etc. Think about the things she and her friends love and idolize. That should give you a good idea on how to theme the party. I will say that pinyadas are always a great time and the kids have a lot of fun. Most of all, provide lots of game ideas. If it is nice weather, they can play outside, possibly go to a pool, to outside chalk, play games in the house or outside like party quirks or charades. There are a million game ideas for kids if you look on the internet! Some you have to prepare in advance a little bit. One game I loved when I was young was an adult would put a name on everyone's back from Martin Luther King Jr. to Angelina Jolie (do whatever is popular now...) and the kids can't see their own name but can see everyone else's. Then each person gets to ask other people yes or no questions about their person. The game goes something like that and I always thought it was really fun. You can't have a birthday without a birthday cake!!!
