that's ok
when I was in elm. I had a real bad case of stage fright
I chickened out and forgot my line...
(It was a play)
but my friend whispered it to me and I felt better because I knew I could rely on my friend. Mabye if you can get a couple of friends to practice with you you'll know it by the time your on stage!
Stage fright is truly a difficult thing to get over with because we are actually fighting against our self. I for one would dread coming up on stage esp if its going to be in front of hundreds of people. But there are a couple of ways to overcome it.
Self consciousness is actually one of the major causes of stage fright. We are afraid that we will fail. We fear of making a mistake in front of everybody. So don't think about negative thoughts. Stop worrying about the talent show and just give it the best that you can. Positive affirmation works. Think of positive thoughts and constantly remind your self that you can.
I've actually read a very helpful article on performance anxiety and I know this will help you a lot: http://stagefrighthelp.com/Performance-Anxiety-How-to-be-an-Extrovert.php
Good luck on your talent show and congratulations in advance
